Photo Remix: Jazz Gumbo
Jazz is like a bowl of gumbo. Music with a hearty stew of flavor and groove. The photo remix symbolizes the different "flavors" of the jazz gumbo, better known as subgenres. It highlights the subgenres of Hard Bop, Bebop, Jazz Fusion, Latin and New Orleans jazz, represented by a photo of Miles Davis (represented in three subgenres), Timbales (latin jazz instrument), and traditonal New Orleans jazz band.

Jazz is my favorite form of musical interpretation! I am so glad you are posting about this form of music! It can sometimes get a bad rap. Especially from the younger crowd. My children love it because it is what I play most of the day. Whether studying, cleaning or just sitting by the fire. Thank you for your blog.
ReplyDeleteHey JustMe!, I am glad you enjoyed my post. I am in the younger generation. I believe that good music is good music no matter what genre
